During your stay we will offer you active, invigorating Yang Yoga in the mornings (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and other types) alongside more restive, restorative Yin Yoga in the early evening.
Classes are designed for both beginners and more experienced practitioners, and you will be guided through each session by gifted and experienced yoga teachers. Clear instructions will be given on how to get the most out of each posture by focusing on proper alignment and breath. You will also learn to deepen your ‘pranayama’ breathing to centre the mind.
Yang Yoga: Focusing on the flow of movement and often following a clear set of asanas (postures) that are followed in sequence and that combine both standing and seated postures.
Yin Yoga: A gentle, meditative practice that enables your body to open and heal, focusing on the connective tissues such as ligaments, bones and the joints of the body that are normally not exercised.
