  • Mandali is easy to reach by plane, car, and train.
  • Our retreat centre is located 75 minutes drive from Milan Malpensa International Airport.
  • We can arrange airport transfers/train station transfers at an additional cost or you may reach Mandali by driving to us.

  • All of our retreats are in English unless clearly stated otherwise. We occasionally offer some in German, Dutch and other languages and they will be clearly stated on the retreat page. We do not offer translation during our retreats.
  • In Mandali we accept payments in cash or any type of debit or credit card except American Express. Please note for airport/station transfers, our drivers only accept cash in Euro currency
  • Orientation and welcome meeting upon arrival.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, we have an all-day refreshment station with herbal teas, coffee and fruit.
  • Daily classes – morning and afternoon yoga classes, guided meditation twice a day and a themed open session.
  • Use of the Body Care facilities – swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
  • Accommodation including fresh towels and organic soap in the bathroom. We do not provide shampoo or toothpaste.
  • Transportation to and from Mandali.
  • Lunch on the first day (but you can choose to join for a small contribution).
  • Body Care treatments such as massages.
  • Mandali is a non-profit organization therefore once you decide to book a retreat with us, we hope you can commit to it.
  • Our retreats are not refundable. In case you need to reschedule due to serious health problems, we are able to offer a voucher for an alternative date in the future

  • You are welcome to check in from 14:00 onwards. If you would like to arrive earlier let us know and we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready.
  • Please note that reception is open every day from 9.00 to 17.30. If you’re arriving after 19:00 please let us know in advance so we can make sure that someone is available to welcome you.
  • Check-out is by 10.00 on the last day of your retreat, usually followed by a closing meeting and lunch at 12.30.
  • Your room will be ready at 14.00. Upon arrival, you may enjoy some free time settling in until your welcome meeting in the afternoon. Our body care centre is our guests’ favourite way to ‘land’, we have an outdoor jacuzzi with epic views, an indoor swimming pool, steam room and a sauna to enjoy. You may enjoy the expansive views from the silent terrace, go for a walk or simply nap!
  • Yes! We have a spacious parking lot that is free of charge for Mandali guests.
  • We don’t provide Wi-Fi connections in the rooms because we’d love to encourage our guests to disconnect as much as possible. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library all day.

  • Besides our own facilities – our cosy library, relaxing body care centre, growing permaculture garden and silent terrace, you may enjoy some hikes around the property or visit the lake. Our front desk can assist you with some of their favourite trails and activities.
  • Of course! We are happy to provide alternative menu options for vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free needs. Please inform us of your dietary requirements upon booking your retreat.
  • We recommend packing:
    • Cash for transfers, city tax and laundry service
    • Your personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo etc.)
    • Comfortable and light clothes for retreat activities
    • Warm layers in case of low temperatures – we’re on a hilltop after all!
    • A journal & pen
    • An alarm clock and/or a wristwatch
    • Flip flops, swimwear and a robe for the body care centre
    • Good hiking shoes/closed shoes for nature walks
    • A raincoat or an umbrella in case of rain
    • A refillable water bottle for filtered water (although we sell some bottles here too!)
    • Any medication you may need
    • We provide yoga and meditation props (mats, cushions, meditation chairs, belts, bolsters), therefore you don’t need to bring your own.
    • We also provide organic soap and hairdryers in each room, so that’s one less thing to pack.
  • Each group room is fully equipped with yoga mats, belts, bolsters, blankets, meditation chairs and cushions. You don’t need to bring any props from home.
  • As we’re located at 900mt above sea level, the weather is quite cold during winter times, and very warm in the summertime. Evenings can be quite chilly during summer as well! You might like to check the weather forecast for Quarna Sopra here – www.3bmeteo.com.
  • We have a washing machine and a drying machine available for your use. You can buy coins for this service at the front desk upon arrival.
  • Yes, all rooms have fresh towels, organic soap and hairdryers.
  • You may smoke only at our designated smoking temple near the parking lot.
  • We have designated weeks for families and kids. Our reception is happy to assist you in finding the best date for you and your family!
  • Although we’re pet lovers, we’re not equipped for hosting dogs or any other pets for the time being.
  • We strongly recommend bringing your own medication. There’s a pharmacy within walking distance from the centre but no doctor is available in the village. In case of emergency, the nearest hospital is in Omegna (approximately 20 min drive).
  • Each room is equipped with a safe. The code is available at reception.
  • The minimum stay at Mandali is two nights (given you’re signed up for a retreat).
  • No, Mandali is a dedicated retreat centre. This means that only people participating in a Mandali Experience or other retreat programme are able to stay at Mandali. Come and join us for a retreat, beloved traveller!
  • Yes! We have dorms exactly for that purpose. If you’re travelling alone and would like to share a room, you’ll be combined with someone of the same gender attending your retreat.
  • You can book a massage upon arrival at our Reception Desk.
  • No. Mandali doesn’t belong to any particular religion or tradition. Inclusivity is of utmost importance to us and we welcome guests and teachers from all lineages and backgrounds.
  • Anyone on a quest for mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Wherever you are on your journey, and no matter how much or how little experience you have with yoga and meditation, we look forward to welcoming you.
  • If you’d like to pay us a visit, please make an appointment in advance by contacting the front desk, this is so that may avoid disturbing the retreats in progress.
